UK, Europe and Canada offices shut, 36 staff lose jobs, founder leaves in aftermath of sale to Warner Music Group. Leading rock and metal label Roadrunner Records has slashed its staff around the world, closing its UK, Europe and Canada offices and making at least 36 staff redundant. Founder Cees Wessels has also stepped down, 17 months after the label was sold to Warner Music Group. It’s thought to be a cost-cutting exercise on the imprint which is home to dozens of big-name acts including Lynyrd Skynyrd, Rush, Slash, The Cult, Ratt, Dream Theater, Airbourne and Queensryche. Warners have not commented. ......"

Is this new or a "re-release" or a live album from this year's tour? It is showing a release date of 01/01/11.

I just bought my tickets for the New Year's Eve at the MGM Grand Theatrer at Foxwoods in CT!! Now I just have to figure out how to get there!

Who else is going??

Has anyone been there before. I know I have seats in the orchestra section, but can't figure out exactly where in that section they are!

Finally, something darn good to look forward too on NYE!!!

At long last here are my Darien Lake 7-3-10 pics. I posted the link on the general boards and thought I'd post it here too.

This was my first Skynyrd concert so I went a little nuts on the photo taking! There are about 250 pics so there are lots to look at and since I am a Rickey Medlocke fanatic, you'll be seeing lots of him. Too bad my videos didn't work out so well. Maybe next time - and there definitely will be a next time- lots of them!
