Will someone please tell me how to post pictures??? Maybe there is a How-To Section on this forum that I am missing. I'm not very computer saavy, so please keep it simple. I have pics from their concert in Evansville. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Went to the Evansville IN Concert, and it was awesome. I have pics to share (as soon as I can figure out how to do it). But for now, is there anyone out there that has the Setlist from this show????? I have looked everywhere for the list and can't find it.
I was going to write down the songs during the concert, but I was too busy listening, dancing, jumping, whistling, etc..... THANKS!!!!
I've been checking out the Setlists for Lynyrd Skynyrd's 2009 Concert Tour, http://www.setlist.fm/setlists/lynyrd-skynyrd-1bd6ad50.html (hope I did that link right) trying to figure out what songs they might play at my upcoming concert.
I noticed that when they played the God & Guns World Tour (Norway, Scotland, England, and Italy) they didn't play any songs off their new album (what's up with that)?
It wasn't until June 30 (during their Rock N' Rebels Tour 2), that they began to play "Skynyrd Nation" and "Still Unbroken".
Each concert since then, they have played 15 Songs---including 2 or 3 off the new CD (last concert they also played "Simple Life" Each concert has begun with "Skynyrd Nation" and ended with "Free Bird", usually preceeded by "Sweet Home Alabama". Each concert setlist has also included "Simple Man", "Gimme Three Steps", "What's Your Name" (usually followed by "That Smell"). Rumor has it that they will now include "God & Guns" to the list.
So let me see what the Setlist looks like according to these previous shows:
1. Skynyrd Nation (usually #1)
2.
3. Simple Life
4. What's Your Name (usually #4 or #5)
5. That Smell (usually follows previous song)
6.
7. Simple Man (usually #7 or #8)
8. Still Unbroken (usually # 7 or #8)
9.
10.
11. Gimme Three Steps
12.
13.
14. Sweet Home Alabama (usually next to last)
15. Free Bird (usually last)
I think "Skynyrd Nation" is a good start up song, and I'm used to "Free Bird" being the last. I like "Still Unbroken" and "Simple Life" (although I would rather hear "Gifted Hands" ). I could really live without some of the "overplayed"/"listened to songs like "What's Your Name", "That Smell", and "Sweet Home Alabama".
If they continue to play a 15 song Setlist, then I will still have 6 more songs to Wish for:
"I Know A Little"
"Whiskey Rock a Roller"
"Down South Jukin"
"Honky Tonk Night Time Man"
"Needle and the Spoon"
"Gimme Back My Bullets"
There are 6 Concert Dates before mine---I will have to keep watching to see what these future Setlists reveal.
So what kind of Setlist are you hoping for at your upcoming concert?

Got the new CD today---wasn't sure if I would like it, because I mostly like the OLD STUFF!! Listened to it about 4-5 times throughout the day. I challenged myself first, (and then my husband) to pick his top 5 songs. After much debate, (and in no particular order), I did narrow my favorite songs to:
1. God & Guns
2. That Ain't My America
3. Still Unbroken
4. Gifted Hands
5. Southern Ways
OMG--I forgot Skynyrd Nation---that song really rocks!! I really didn't believe I would love this new CD as much as I do. I mean, every song is good!!
So, are you up for the Top 5 Challenge???
Hey All, I have tickets to the Nov. 6th concert in Evansville---seems like a long time away, but then it's been a long time since I saw LS. (I did get good seats though---6TH row center)
So what show are you going to and when?
