I have never been on the Simple Man Cruise, or any other cruise, I can't afford one. Is it me or is the idea of a cruise for simple men (like me) similar to having a yacht race as part of the Daytona 500?

I do. Rickey is a nice fit as is Johnny, but am I the only one who sometimes feels like dedicating LS 1991 and depicting his image onstage with our other fallen heros somehow diminishes his importance to the music? Could there have ever been a Skynyrd w/o Allen? In my opinion 1/3 of all tour profits should go to foundations for post-traumatic stress, in Allen's name. Fly on beautiful soul. The pain is over. Can't believe it's been over 20 years.

Artimus Venomous has to be the best post 77 southern rock record (sorry MTB, Hatchett, and 38), right there with the first RCB record and GnG. Is a follow up in the works? Love ya Mike, but Arty is pure genius, at least on that record. One can only wonder how good the next record could be if Arty and Ed were willing and able to write songs with Rickey, Gary, and Johnny. Time to forgive, boys. Time is runnin out. Miss ya JoJo, the honkettes are not the same without your beautiful voice and soul. Is there any room for Leslie? The last of the original honkettes? I sure hope so.

Skynyrd will always be my favorite band. I think this line up is rock solid. Sparky is a nice fit in the Strat slot but does he write any songs? Seems like the time between records is getting longer and longer and when they do make a new record they play 2 songs from it, max. Would people really be upset if they played SHA, Bird, GTS, Smell, and the rest JVZ era songs? If only for part of a tour?

Saw the boys today at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. First time since Ed King was in the band the second time. The band sounded tight to me. Looking forward to new release. Are there plans for a fall tour to support it?
