Lynyrd Skynyrd is getting ready to rock the US this summer with ZZ Top and The Doobie Brothers, and we want the Skynyrd Nation to have access to presale tickets before the general public! We have seven May dates with ZZ Top and one August date with The Doobie Brothers that will be available for the fan club presale on Wednesday, March 23 at 12PM Local Venue Time. As always, tickets are limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Robert Kearns to Present Blue Christmas Benefit Concert
Valdese, NC – Local musician and bass guitarist for Lynyrd Skynyrd, Robert Kearns, presents the Tom Kearns Memorial Blue Christmas Benefit Concert on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at
the Old Rock School in Valdese, NC. Kearns, who has a personal connection to Alzheimer’s says, "This is something that is close to me, because my dad suffered from Alzheimer's during
the last few years of his life". His father, Tom Kearns, suffered a heart attack and died just days away from Thanksgiving in 2009. The concert will start at 7:30 p.m. and feature local musicians, including: Bobby Denton, The Harris Brothers, Jaret Carter, David Wiseman, Jonathan Birchfield, Laurel Creek and other special guests. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased by calling 828-879-2129 or at the door. All proceeds benefit the Alzheimer’s
Association of Western North Carolina.
