Your #1 Fan lost his life

My name is Matt Linebaugh. I am reaching out to you to see if you are interested in helping out a San Diego family. On January 30th of this year there was a freak accident at a small airport in San Diego and a guy by the name of Gordon Woodard was killed when the prop on his companies plane hit him in the head. He was 41 and was married with 3 kids.

I'm writing this to you because Gordon lived his life by the words in the song Free Bird. It was plaid daily at his house, truck and work (along with the rest of your songs). It was also played at his funeral.

When I heard you were coming to San Diego through XX1090AM I thought this would be a nice surprise to his wife and kids as well as a few people he worked with (they are actually family) to get them to the concert and have their own personal celebration of life. I'm not asking for a hand out, just wanted to see if here was a way to get a group of tickets to the event and what the cost would be. I can't get them anywhere on line right now and I'm sure it will sell out really quick. I left a message with Harrah's Rincon Casino as well. I don't know if it would be asking too much but i would even like to see if it is possible for you to dedicate Free Bird to Gordon at the concert.

I'm not family, just a good friend. Gordon didn't have any enemies. He was loved by EVERYONE who knew him and it was a crushing blow to his family, friends and everyone that knew him when he died so suddenly. I would just like to pay a little bit back to his family of what he gave everyone.

Please let me know if there is anything you can do to assist.
