You Need a new Soundman!!

@ls-martinr:
I was thinking the same thing! That did not look like RK, but that WAS his guitar strap with the chome ring. I was also noticing the "guy on bass" at the Salamanca NY show was playing a 4-string Gibson Thunderbird bass, and Robert has been playing 5 string Fender, so perhaps a last minute substitution! Still missed the new material though.

@roadfatigue:
Hope everything's OK with Robert. Playing just less than an hour and half, love the band, but I didn't get a full bottle of beer this time if you get my drift.

I've said this before, but here it goes again......there will come a day when we here the announcement "This is the last Skynyrd tour". Enjoy the ride while it lasts--all old tunes or a mix of old and new!! If you are a true Skynyrd fan, it shouldn't matter.

@dlb8205:

The Salamanca show was too short for ticket price paid. An hour and a half? Springsteen played for 3 hours. Thanks for the "Trey" /Robert update. Surprised though they would not have introduced Trey and explained what was going on. Can't have everything I guess.

=LynSkyn1981 said:@Sweet Home AL Sara: I don't know why you keep saying that, i think we had the discussion before on another post, but seems that is what you want to happen. So i wont post a reply to you

btw too much is involved, i see there being some incarnation of the band for the next 20 years, even if Gary retires, there are families to feed, and great fans like all of us that still attends their shows.

Hope that you are right!!
