I have never been on the Simple Man Cruise, or any other cruise, I can't afford one. Is it me or is the idea of a cruise for simple men (like me) similar to having a yacht race as part of the Daytona 500? |

You could also ask if Ronnie would have opened a restaurant. And my guess for the answer to both questions is,yes, if it made good business sense to do so. Business practices change and what seems absurd to one group is reasonable to another. I can't imagine any of the 70's groups doing cruises back then because then (I think) cruises were for old (wealthy) people. Now they are marketed differently. And they are pricey, but when you consider the price includes food (LOTS of it), lodging, entertainment, and transportation, it isn't that outrageous. If you added up the cost of a week at a decent hotel, plus all your meals, plus tickets to multiple shows, plus transportation to the shows....As for restaurants and 70's bands.....ewwwwww.....I just thought of Ozzie Osborne biting off the head of an animal on stage.....or was he 80's? Doesn't matter. I wouldn't want to eat at his place. |
