It wouldn't at all surprise me if Skynyrd were tempted to try the European Festival circuit next summer. That's not to say that a proper tour couldn't be fitted in as well. There are now a good few festivals in The UK alone that would suit Skynyrd,ie Download(Donington)/Sonisphere(Knebworth)/High Voltage(London)/Hard Rock Calling(London-Hyde Park),Glastonbury/Isle Of Wight.There's also Sweden Rock/Sonisphere Europe/Rock Am Ring/Rock Im Park/Pink Pop/Werchter/Wacken/Roskilde. That's only the better known ones-there are dozens of others out there.

At the question & answer session on the Simpleman Cruise in January, they said they wanted to come back to Europe, so lets hope they tour the UK & bring a good support band with them. |
