They just postered a Video of my FAVORITE SONG, Simple Life. Being I am 55 I can relate to the way things used to be. Back when I was a wee lad we never locked our doors when we went out. We had a neighborhood conveinience store, you could walk there in 5 minutes and if you didn't have the money, the grocer who knew you by name would just write it down in his book and your dad would go down when he got paid to take care of the weekly bill. Try doing that at Walmart or Acme or Shop Rite today. Lynyrd Skynyrd hits home with this song of the way things used to be. They definitely know how to write a song that tells truthful life experiences. LIVE ON FOREVER LYNYRD SKYNYRD cause the Hooty's LOVE YA Its better to be hated for who you are, than to be liked for who your not |

Great CD, best since the band got back together. Many good songs but the best may be Rainin' in my Heartland. |

Simple Life is my favorite as well. There's a great video on Youtube of the band performing the song live in SIRIUS/XM's studios. I'm 35 years old, but I'm old enough to remember the good 'ol days of the late '70s and '80s. With the new century, things have rapidly gone to crap in a handbasket.
