VOTED AS ONE OF 2010's TOP 3 BEST COVER BANDS IN NH ! SOUTHERN BREEZE, a LYNYRD SKYNYRD / MOLLY HATCHET cover band, is VOTED AS ONE OF 2010's TOP 3 BEST COVER BANDS IN NH ! Best of 2010 local band/performer playing covers 1. Best: Mama Kicks. 2. Runner-up: Best Not Broken. 3. Honorable mention: Southern Breeze “I think that’s great,” said Don McHugh, drummer for Southern Breeze, upon hearing of his band’s selection. The group is a Lynyrd Skynyrd-Molly Hatchet tribute band. McHugh said growing up the band members were all big Lynyrd Skynyrd fans. “Who doesn’t like Lynyrd Skynyrd?” he asked. “…There are a million classic rock bands out there, but nobody here was really doing this.” Considering the voters’ choice, McHugh said Southern Breeze must be doing something right. Thank you Brothers! Our band swims against the grain up here but we play what we love and that's Skynyrd & Hatchet. All the hard work pays off! Chaulk up another for Skynyrd Nation! |

Congratulations JoeZ!!! It’s great that your band is keeping the music of Skynyrd alive in NH! Keep on rockin’ frynd. Hopefully I’ll get to see your band perform during the summer. (I tried to post this a lot earlier, but I kept getting the gerbil thing.) |
