Last night VH1classic had Lynyrd Skynyrd on the Inside The Music Remastered show as a longtime fan of the band I cant help but get sad when I see Gary taking about the plane crash you can see the tears in his eyes.He is the only founding member left and when interviewing Artimus he was very animated in saying Ronnie was Lynyrd Skynryrd I understand that, is he bitter because he is not with the band and what happened between him and Gary and the rest of the Survivors after the Tribute tour?

train roll on im many miles from my home i just need to ride my blues away

@eurie1034:

Lynyrd Skynyrd Remastered was very dissapointing. The interviews were at least 12-14 years old. They talked nothing about anything really, just a bunch of stuff that has been said a thousand times. I dont understand how this was remastered when there was nothing current talked about. any new interviews, news, any new future direction, plans for the group. VH1 gave us nothing.

Vh1 Classic has posted the full episode on their web site.

Here's a link to it http://www.vh1.com/video/behind-the-music-remastered/full-episodes/behind-the-music-remastered-lynyrd-skynyrd/1653537/playlist.jhtml

I hadn't seen the first airing of this way back when it originally aired on Vh1, so I enjoyed watching it. I do wish that there were more current interviews added to the remastered version. I'm guessing the only thing added was the information on Billy, Hughie, Ean and Mr. Skinner's passings.

For Vh1, though it is easier to rehash the old than it is to create something new. :/
