@ls-skynyrdrocks88: I agree that the caliber of music isn't the same. I still greatly enjoy the newer skynyrd's music though, especially from The Last Rebel and Edge of Forever albums. And it's great that it's Ronnie's brother leading the band.

The accomplishments/song writing of the early band were amazing( and being fortunate enough to see them in the 70's, I knew I was going to love them).... But guess what? This is now.

We all ought to be thanking our lucky charms we have this group that continues to tour, and puts on an incredible show, year after year! ( and some pretty great albums in recent history) Bringing, as "Skynyrdrocks"says new generations of fans together. It's awesome!

"Skynyrdrocks"...the tribute band as you like to refer to them- and in my opinion is semi derogatory ( I know that was a tour title, but they have- as you can see moved on), has been touring for a couple of decades. Please try to cut 'em some slack, and enjoy the music...

Well when they only play one post-crash song per show, it's a tribute to the original band. If the setlist was 50/50 or even 60/40, then I would think otherwise. Another way to look at it would be: Out of the 9 people on the stage, only one person actually played with the original band. So you're saying if artimus or ed put a band together with Donnie Van Zant, they could refer to themselves as skynyrd?
