Got the new CD today---wasn't sure if I would like it, because I mostly like the OLD STUFF!! Listened to it about 4-5 times throughout the day. I challenged myself first, (and then my husband) to pick his top 5 songs. After much debate, (and in no particular order), I did narrow my favorite songs to:

1. God & Guns 2. That Ain't My America 3. Still Unbroken 4. Gifted Hands 5. Southern Ways

OMG--I forgot Skynyrd Nation---that song really rocks!! I really didn't believe I would love this new CD as much as I do. I mean, every song is good!!

You have got to be kidding me--not funny---I didn't know there was a Special Edition CD. Now I'm really bummed!!!!!

Well now I am really P'd off. I can't return the one I bought today, so do you think it's worth the extra 20 something dollars to buy the Special Edition CD? I mean, you listed 3 songs off that album as your favorite?

Here are my Top five from a quality or writing , meaning and rythym in my point of view 1) Gifted Hands 2) Southern Ways 3) Gods and Guns 4) Raining in my Heartland 5) Still Unbroken

1) Unwrite that song . If I was voting for a CMT country music song with rock drive, will no doubt get the Skynyrd on CMT TV and a catchy song

Vicious Cycle and God and Guns have songs that are as good as any rock band has produced in last 20 yrs , let hope we hear them at concerts as well as some of the core 70's songs.

Got to see if I can find the special CD.They should have said something about this but then it is a great surprise.So far "God and Guns" is my #1.Skynyrd Nation really rocks,I agree.I'll have to agree " Unwrite That Song" sounds alot country but it's still a great track.Lookin' forward to tomorrow to listen to more.

Got the special edition. It's a better CD than expected. It's tough picking a top 5 as there's not a weak cut on the CD. But the early favorites are. 1. Still Unbroken 2.Floyd (hope tey play it live) 3.That ain't My America 4.Comin' Back For More 5. Unwrite That Song (great ballad) Iloved the Vicious Cycle CD,don't know if it's as good,but it should have more commercial appeal. maybe rock radio will give it a good shot,there's 4 songs that would make country hits.

I downloaded on itunes first thing this morning. Busy day at work but have been listening this evening. My top 5 are:

1-southern ways 2-Skynyrd Nation 3- Rain in My Heartland 4-come back for more 5-unwrite that song

Skynyrd Nation has to be the show opener and Southern Ways should be a big hit on country radio. I dig Still Unbroken and Simple life but there are way better picks for singles. . .

you can buy it as Best Buy. I got mine today,and i love the song Bang Bang..it's awesome. i'm surprised that song and raining in my heartland wre not included.
