@wolfwhistle: so where you located? home base if i may be so bold to ask! i'm in a town about 30 miles west of salt lake city utah, called tooele, (pronounced "too-ill-ah") which i call toolie town, small town, i love it, nothin' like goin' where alot of good folk know ya. been here since after i finished my '02 olympics gig, so 7 yrs now. alot of skynyrd fans here, country folk! IF I LEAVE HERE TOMORROW, WOULD YOU STILL REMEMBER ME? |

@mcskynyrd: Well, my home base is a small town (population not 62 but 800) right in the middle of France. Farmers (like us), hunters, lakes & hills, so it's a good life, with Skynyrdmusic as a cherry on the cake. French music isn't allways crap, but I prefer our Suthyn Frynds, no doubt about that ! |

@Sweet Home AL Sara: Please, don't mention the awesome SMC ! I'd LOVE to go , but I'm on some kind of crossroads in my life right now. Maybe in january 2011 I can make it , cuz it's really my biggest wish ... It must be the best experience you can have : Good Southern Music (Floyd ! Southern Ways !) on a ship with nuthin' but the SkynyrdFamily, with the sun goin' down over the ocean... OMG just thinking 'bout it makes me mad ! How I love to be part of that ...

I really liked your story! I feel so lucky to have seen them perform before the plane accident! Las Vegas in 1977! Nothing will ever compare to my favorite song....."Freebird"! |
