Skynyrd to headline Freedom Concerts

About Sean Hannity's Freedom Concerts

Since 2003, over $10 million has been raised for the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund through the Freedom Concerts and generous donations from the Sean Hannity Show and its listeners. The Scholarship Fund is designated for the education of children of U.S. service members who have been killed or 100% permanently disabled in an operational mission or training accident. All net proceeds from ticket sales (after musical talent, production, promotion and venue expenses) are donated to the Scholarship Fund, aiding greatly in this effort to assist hundreds of families who have lost their loved ones while they were protecting and defending our nation and our freedoms.

Lynyrd Skynyrd will headline 9 shows in August 2010 in support of this great cause. Check the Tour Dates page for show dates. Click on the photo above for details and ticket info.

I heard Hannity mention a hometown show in JACKSONVILLE, but didn't see it listed. I love the Jacksonville area and that awsome bridge on the 9A. Took the A1A all the way to St. Augustine. I've been to all your Richmond Innsbrook shows and caught you with Kid Rock on 7/25 in Virginia Beach, but I'd truly love to see you all playing in Jacksonville. LLLS

How cool...saw ya'll last night on Hannity...good job! This is so neat that Michael W. Smith is involved...He is an awesome guy. He's an ordained pastor in Nashville...founder of New River Fellowship in Franklin, TN. My son, Noah and I went to his churchh often while living in Nashville...awesome place. The church has a coffee shop (Starbuck) style with desserts too etc. He has local musicians play live gigs etc. in the church...which is a redone movie theater. He is a great guy, nice, family man...very giving, loving, generous human being. He is all about serving, helping, blessing others...he always puts others ahead of himself...always. My son hung out with his kids...got invited to parties he would have at his "farm" and his "big house." Noah got to see him behind the scenes and said he was exactly like he was in the church and sooo much fun...a big kid I guess. Noah beat Smitty twice at pool...and Smitty inquired who taught him to play like that...I had a little bit to do with it...ha ha...his dad mostly though. Anyway...this is a great group of folks...Lynyrd Skynyrd, Charlie and MWS...what a God-put-together group for sure...can't wait!!!
