The gulf coast is prepared for a rockin good time on the beach tonight with Lynyrd Skynyrd... raining like hell right now but hopefully the shies will break and the show will go on!!

I used to live in the "Redneck Riviera." Have a great time!

We just made it in from the show. The rain held off and it was a great night! My estimate is that there were around 20,000 folks on the beach for the concert. Unlike the Hannity Freedom concert in Atlanta on Friday night, this was most definitely a Skynyrd crowd in Fort Walton Beach!!! A very lively crowd and plenty of hardcores on hand. Tons of Bama fans and a good bunch of Gator fans as well; all having a wonderful time!

The band sounded great. I don't know how they have the stamina to play night after night at such a high level. They have my utmost respect!!!
