@nuthinfancy: greatly said by Hooty! i'll 2nd that! ............. took the words from outta me! thanks Hooty, and to you nuthinfancy. now let's do what Skynyrd Nation Fans truely love to do, and that's "Keep the Faith"., and as Freebird brother Leon, said to me.............. "alway's Rock Suthyn"! ......... which he followed with, "being a Skynyrd fan, you'll understand"! end quote.

it's all about the music, the message in the songs, the love of the simpleman and the simple life, the workin' man, the fryndships, and loyalty to a belief......... the Suthyn Ways! with always keeping God as #1, Family #2, love of country, our brothers & sisters in our military and the band, and fans #3!

oh, and by the way, when he signed that autograph for me, Leon himself spelled "Suthyn" as such,.................... and as for the dots............. omg, ........... Leon used 'em too!

IF I LEAVE HERE TOMORROW, WOULD YOU STILL REMEMBER ME?

Just watching the Soundstage performance. I loved it,but then again,i'm biased. I'm a huge Skynyrd fan which is probably why i'm here on this forum anyway! I'm in Scotland, and we don't get a fraction of the televised Skynyrd that you guys get,so when a dvd or a torrent of a US broadcast comes along we jump right on it. I love the old Skynyrd, love the current Skynyrd, will love the sons of Skynyrd, but most of all,i can't get enough of those Skynyrd songs - whoever performs them. They are just too damn good to be respectfully laid to rest. Call it what you like - tribute or whatever. It'll do for me. I can't go back in time - as much as sometimes i do wish i could have a couple of hours at Knebworth or Asbury Park or The Fox Theatre back in the day - but i can't,so i'll make do with whats on offer, and thankfully Gary,Johnny,Rickey et al are continuing to provide for us.
God bless the lot of them. And the lot of you as well!

Happy 60th Rickey.

Thanks for the tip, Paul - Skynyrd is one of the most underrated classic rock bands. We in Skynyrd Nation know better.

What rock lost in 10/77 was no less than what it lost in 2/59.

“Some people said he was useless – them people are the fools."

Thank GOD FOR SKYNYRD FRIENDS! Met mine in AC, NJ 1 yr ago, we re 3 states apart&have gotten together frequently, not to mention texting, about Skynyrd of course. Anyway, he taped PBS for me, I couldnt find it either. Now, we watch continuously. Johnny has always been my 15 yr old daughters fav, received many items from him during concerts. So she watches him&wishes he was her dad, or @least adopted she says.HAHA. She says he's so cool. I think he's got the most gorgeous smile. I just want to jump on him&roll around.
