How many of you have seen Ronnie sing? If you did you would know how I am feeling. The last time I saw Ronnie was in at the aditorium in Milwuakee, Wi with the Climax Blues Band, opening. That was just before the crash. And so you know the ,I need you refereance is not the America song it is off WHAT'S YOUR NAME. My wife thought PUNK was cool and was her type of music. Disco sucked amd most of today's stuff is JUNK. SKYNYRD is FOREVER!!!!!

Never scene Ronnie sing but I have seen the Johnnie led Skynyrd which has put out a TON of GREAT MUSIC as well as playing the old classics and never once have I walked away dissapointed. I to grew up on the GREATEST era of music starting with the oldies in the late 50's early 60's and then the British Invasion, than the American Groups competing, than Motown. Nowadays a lot of the new genres of music don't appeal to me but I guess as I am getting older I understand music is changing drastically but not my taste for it. Some people say I'm still stuck in the 60's but thats okay, if I like steak I eat it and if I don't I don't partake of it

Its better to be hated for who you are, than to be liked for who your not

@Hooty: Ronnie was fantastic, but his brother is to, I don't think to many in Milwaukee are on the site! That is a shame. It wasn't climax blues that opend it was u,heap and nobody corrected me. About the only thing differnt is Ronniie was always barefoot on stage. The music is the same between the 2 , and the vocals are dam close. The very first concert I took my daughter was SKYNYRD. That got her away from marlyn manson. THANK GOD. I am waiting and praying I can get Barb to a SKYNYRD show this year.

@Hooty: Luckily I have had tha chance ta see Ronnie more than a few tymes and he could never be replaced , simulated But never replaced. Johnny does a great job and has improved as a singer greatly. Remember tha orignal band only had 4 years together and put out some of tha greatest music ever. Lynyrd Skynyrd has had many players but THANK GOD tha song remains tha same!!..................................... rusty

LONG LIVE SKYNYRD NATION!!!

Yes they had 4 years together, I was in high school, I am 53 yearsold now the song remains the same kind of. The message from Ronnie is the sme through his brother, anyone that can not feel Ronnie in RED,WHITE &BLUE will not understand. It is family and that is SKYNYRD NATION!
