Hey gang
Just recovering from a fantastic weekend as are quite a few of you. It is back to reality time I guess but what a lot of great memories from the cruise. Glad to have met quite a few of the Nation from this board on the cruise. It is nice to put a face with a login name. I hope your ship board charges were not TOO high LOL.
Take care
Tom

mc I have to second that on a "guest apprearance" from the Cat In The Hat....

ALA17 thanks for posting the set lists, I wrote them down but have to find them...

ls1981, I know you're pizzed about the set list but there was more than one they added.... I got the same old blues was one I'd never heard.... But Whiskey R&R, Down South Jukin, Double Trouble, I ain't the one and Red White & Blue are some that they don't play that often....

ALA17, don't forget the that EVERYONE on the ship got a picture with Skynyrd....

They have 3 concerts, one for everyone and the other two are "ticketed show's"... So at least 2 Skynyrd show's, if your "creative" 3, a picture with the band, and numerous run in's with the band thoughout the whole cruise. Where you can actually sit and talk to them, take pictures, etc.... With the exception of Johnny and Gary. Although some did run into to them... And that's just Skynyrd... You got the rest of the bands..... Rickey putting on a guitar clinic where he selected people to teach some stuff but open to everyone... Michael on his paintings where he explains the paintings.... Skynyrd Q&A,.... etc....

There are worse things to "waste" your money on.....

So it is what it is.... If you don't like the current line up, the current set list, etc... save you money for something else....

I'm not dead, at least not yet, Still Alone, Still Alive, STILL UNBROKEN....

Medway, What could be better than Lynyrd Skynyrd on the Lido deck?

Sounds like so much fun!

S Sara - When you got back does your class get to hear about the trip? I would love that---even if they are little kids?

'81 it's live music!
I am grateful for that- take a look ( and listen to some of the alternative out there!)...even if the show isn't as long as i'd like or if they don't play the songs i'd like to hear.

It's still live!☺

We enjoyed the cruise, Skynyrd was great, best Skynyrd show I have seen in a while. But, I seriously missed the punch that Molly Hatchet and the Outlaws provided last year. I was disappointed with the lack of top bands. I would wait to see who all is confirmed before I booked another Sixthman cruise.

Thanks for posting the set list. That set list has been over played for years. I am really suprised at this point that a creative group of songs was not put together for this type of venue. The cruise represents the die-hard fans. How can you not pull out some rare/obscure songs that reallly blow the fans away. I would love to get a real answer to this. I can understand if you are on tour and need to play the hits but this is different. And what about God & Guns?? Just Skynyrd Nation??

Wowzer... have started seeing lots of various pics up on Facebook from Skynyrd Nation frynds on the SMC 2011. Looked like another year of great fun in the sun, sailin and a wailin, cruisin and a schmoozin with Skynyrd and frynds. Sorry I missed it once again, but glad there were so many smilin faces on the cruise who did enjoy it!

As soon as I can get my head above the snow (more coming up here tonite) I'll visit the board more often.

Welcome back frynds!
