Andy Griffith and Lynryd Skynyrd. Both American icons and 2 of the greatest products of the South. Honest, truthful and from the heart. RIP Andy. We'll see the band tonight in Westbury on Long Island. |

As the band was leaving the concert stage in Raleigh on 8-4-12, the whistle we all know from the Andy Griffith show rang out across the speakers. I thought that was pretty cool and an appropriate tribute considering Mr. Griffith's home state was in North Carolina. |
