To all the Van Zants. We will never forget your Brother Ronnie. Our Heart's got out to you all. I have Listened to Skynyrd since the 70's and don't plan on stopping now.. The Music they gave us will live on Forever. God Bless Ronnie, Steve, & Cassie. R.I.P. And now Remember all the Band Members that are no longer with us To the Mississippi Kid {Ean Evans} & Billy Powell may you R.I.P. also.. The seed was planted in November of '73 @ the Cow Palace in San Francisco and it's still growin' strong. God bless all who have made Skynyrd my favorite kick-ass band of all time. Fly High My Frynds!!! J Dawg |

I was one of those southside kids who grew up in Jax when Gary/Allen/Ronnie started "the Noble Five" and "My Backyard". I remember the free concerts at the beach and that whole feeling of knowing that oneday our buddies would make it big!! Gary...hope you are felling better! Good luck with the new Q place in Vegas. Is it as good as Bonos was when we were growing up? Keep rockin'. |

was senior in high skool wen these guys made made my head spin, sayin this is kick ass music & 40 yrs later, my kids hav not missed a concert. we even made a trip down 2 visit the grave site which is a very eerie feeling. funniest moment, 4 am, while feeding last baby, was watchin u guys on tv (live concert) & my littl 1 sat up & started bouncin til concert ovr, needless 2 say we did not go back 2 sleep, great moment. |
