Just wanted to take the time,and say that everything that was going on with the Tonight Show with Conain O'Brain,that had so disrespectfully the great legendary Ronnie,and how the song FREEBIRD was done,but at the sametime that was going,and how werid i find it,while all that was happening,there was one of our FREEBIRDS we lost on Jan,23 as well------------ALLEN COLLINS you are still here with us in our hearts/music------------you'll never be forgotten like all the FREEBIRDS we lost over the years---------so here's to you---------ALLEN---------------FLY ON FREEBIRD---------------------You're greatly missed

I went and paid my respects at his gravesite around dusk on the 23rd.
Left two feathers.
It had been raining earlier, and smelled of wet wood and smoke, like from a log burning.
I was glad to have had the place all to myself last Saturday.
