The best way to listen to this album is with headphones on, I love the way the lead guitars can be heard 1 in one ear and 1 in the other. AWESOME.
I used to go to sleep every night back in the 70s while in middle school listening to this album. This is were I fell in love with their music.
"One More From the Road" will always be my favorite album. I have a lot of history with it.

One of my favorites of all times. However anyone ever run across concert footage of '75 San Diego Concert w/ Skynyrd, Winter bros, Derringer, I think Montrose... It was the greatest Freebird and guitar concert ever. If this can be found, it would go viral as well be a great treasure unearthed. I was in the Navy in '75 San Diego and went to the concert with a buddy who died shortly after. Hope someone can run this down if footage exists. Thx.

I'm a die hard Skynyrd fan and have been since the 70s! I have my original "Pronouced" album framed, even though it is tattered and very much played. I have a cd booklet with nothing but Skynyrd cds, posters and stacks of T'shirts. I even had the opportunity to talk with Gene Odom, Ronnie VanZant's best fren on the phone a few years ago. He's the author of the book: Lynyrd Skynyrd: The Freebirds of Southern Rock. I was ecstatic when they FINALLY got inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in 2006, but I think Charlie Daniels should have done the honors of inducting them instead of Kid Rock. By the way, Kid Rock's version of Gimme Back My Bullets sucks!!! Sorry... but I've heard better covers by other artists!!! My son's know that when I die, (even if I'm in my 90s) that they will only play NOTHING BUT [/b]Lynyrd Skynyrd music at my wake and funeral, that's how die hard of a fan I am!!!
Keep on Rockin Lynyrd Skynyrd, you are the all time best!!!

Totally agree with you, there is something about LIVE southern rock that really moves me. LS: One More, ABB: Live at the Fillore East, CDB: Voulenteer Jams
are just a few...The Souths Gonna Do It Again!!!

I was thirteen when I first heard Skynyrd playing on my friends stereo, I'm now 44 and still enjoy jammin on Skynyrd. I've got 2 vinyl records of this one and alot of other Skynyrd stuff. Skynyrd has always been my FAVORITE band in the world, and always will be!!!!

This may be my favorite album of all, I wish I had even a clue how many times I've listened to it and rocked out. I'm 51 now and can still put this one on and loose track of time and anything else that suppose to be getting done. One thing I know for sure is that I lived through a unique time in music history and culture. Keep Rocking And we'll keep listing.

This was the first Skynyrd album I ever owned. Still listen to it on my ipod all the time at the gym. Saw them in Minneapolis this summer. Amazing concert!

I have the " One More From The Road " double 'LIVE' vinyl album in safe keeping. Though it is not being played on for almost 25 years now. But I will pass it on to my son, so that he'll appreciate '' my kinda music " when I'm gone. Cos it's not for sale and will never put to sale vinyl album. It's a vintage album. cheerio....
