Have a New York City BLAST guys! Wish I was going with ya'll...
I'd check the forecast too...I've been north awhile now and it's already
pretty chilly at night...beautiful though...leaves are turning up here in the
Boston/Cape Cod area...today I had to wear a sweatshirt and shoes...
during the day, even...so refreshing though...wonder when it will snow?
I'm not prepared for THAT yet...

Just a review on the concert last night.... I'll get more in depth later... Need some sleep....

AWESOME!!!!! As expected....

I ran into Kyle (MC technician) and Steve "Boxcar" walking around the Beacon Theater and they were headed to the Dakota (where John Lennon was shot) so they were cool enough to let me hang out with them... After a few blocks we found it, took some pictures then headed to Central Park. Walked around for a while, they took more pictures then headed back to the Beacon..
They played 3 new songs off of G&G's, they were suppose to play Southern Ways but was scratched at the last minute...
Set list as follows:
Skynyrd Nation
What's Your Name
Simple Life
That Smell
I Know A Little
Simple Man
Still Unbroken
Medley:
Whiskey R-N-R
Down South Jukin
Needle & Spoon
Tuesday's Gone
Three Steps
Breeze
Sweet Home Ala
Freebird

At the end of the show Steve "Boxcar" gave me a set list from the show... NICE!!!!

I'll have a little bit more about the show later...

@medwaysimpleman: So glad that you had a great time. Did you enjoy the video/picture portion of the show?

Ain't nothing sweeter than a Southern girl!

Sara,
Yes!!!! I love how they have added more video's to there shows... Especially during the tributes to the former and deceased members...

Don't know if you seen it but I especially like during Gimmie 3 Steps, the background video cartoon of the old guy with the beard dancing is pretty damn funny... If you have seen it check it out at the next show...

All in All a great show!!!!

I took pictures from the show that I will post once I download them to my pc....
