im curios bout 'simple man' chord pattern @ tone,it sounds like those of the scorpions 'always somewhere',,though they are good songs,,,,does skynyrd does it first...

why dont you wiki the dates the songs were released?

When I was a young'un they used to teach us to play music like this here - RVZ

Simple Man was of course released on Pronounced in 1973.
Always Somewhere was released on LoveDrive in 1979, apparently.

Playing Always Somewhere, I could definitely see the resemblance in the instrumentation.

Not going to knock newer art for incorporating good ideas from older art. :)
