@ls-bostonmark:

Doesn't look like Meadowbrook is having much for the Southyn Rockyn fans this year. That's a shame.

Lyn Skyn seemed like they used too come to KC every other year in the past ..... with the year in between they would come too an out lining area like a state fair or a military base in the area...... now they seemed to come to the area and surrounding ones too every year also..... keep your fingers crossed. In 06 I was able to see LS 4 times in around a 200 mile radius. They have not forgot ya ...... chin up !!!

ls-bostonmark,
I emailed Meadowbrook back in April and they told me Skynyrd will not be playing there for the first time in 9 years. I've still got my fingers crossed that Skynyrd will play there, but who knows. My advice is, if you really want to see Skynyrd this summer, and haven't bought tickets already, buy tickets to the Mansfield, MA show.

JoeZ,
I know what you mean about the Meadowbrook line up. Usually I attend 3 shows at Meadowbrook every summer; this year it looks like I won't be attending any.

I too won't be making the trek to Meadowbrook this year. The lineup is WEAK!!!!

I usually go to a couple of shows each year but not this year. Although I'm planning to go see JoeZ during Bike Week this year.

Very disappointed...

I'm not dead, at least not yet, Still Alone, Still Alive, STILL UNBROKEN....

@medwaysimpleman: Ain't that the truth!

They usually book about 25 shows a year, they're up to 19 so far and it looks like there is nothing that is gonna draw me to save my pennies to go to this year either. Don't understand why the change this year.

Keep your fingers crossed, still seems to be some open dates. I don't get it neither since they are going to be Missouri 3 times in less than 3 months.......

@Backstreet crawler: Nice to meet ya Brother man.

I'm hoping Meadowbrook is not changing the type of acts they want to bring up here in NH.

The only other 2 venues in NH is The Verizon Wireless Arena about 10,000 seating but the acoustics are terrible in that building in my opinion, and the other is the Hampton Beach Casino about 2,000 seating and that building in my opinion is a fire trap because of it being an old wooden structure. My favorite without any doubt is Meadowbrook, great place, great sound. Time will tell what this year ultimately brings up here.

Logistics are always a challenge.
