New Years Eve with Skynyrd!!!!
November 06, 2010 2:09:42 AM UTC Post #11

What Skynyrd should do is do a VIP Package...

Tickets to the show and lodging. Never mind the t-shirts, poster, etc.... That would be the real VIP Package...

Just a thought...

Glad to hear you thinking about heading east. That would be cool to meet another member of the Nation...

So here's the latest scoop....

I called Foxwoods Casino this morning to get prices and here's what I found out...

A room at Foxwoods Casino for the night will run you $599.... 2 Queen beds. The next option would be the Two Tree's Inn, not connected to the Casino but I guess still on the property. They offer shuttles to that hotel and the cost of that hotel is.... $399... Two Singles, I believe...

So there are your options... There person said they will go "fast" and not to wait.... I did check the other casino near by and there New Year's rate is $799.... So I guess it is what it is...

Sara, they might be booked up also... LOL...

I asked if there were any "discounts", she said unfortunately not because it's New Year's Eve... Kind of thought that...

Any other thoughts??

Hey Skynyrd Management.....
HELP OUT THE NATION!!!!! Let's get a package deal for "MEMBERS ONLY", Hotel & Ticket to the show.....

This is true rf. Plenty of times I've gone to the casino and they have the prime seats for these "high rollers" who are always in there 50's and bring there 20 year old "daughter".... LOL....

It's frustrating because the true fans are either far back or to the sides raisin' hell and the vip's are sitting in the best seats in the house.... And yes I said sitting....

Yeah I'm sure the second they're released they'll start popping up on those sites....

There is a Best Western up there that will take you back and forth to the casino. I would suspect their rates to be much cheaper as they usually are but it is New Years Eve.

GOT MINE!!!!!!

ORCH RIGHT(P1) J - 14

But....
I go over to a "ticket" web site and they already have tix's!!!!! Better than ours.... And the price of the "Ticket Vendor" is $340 per ticket for Orch rows A-X....

I got mine for $100, but still how does this happen??? I know they reserve the center section for the "High Rollers" but seriously how do these ticket agencies get first 10 rows?? Scumbags....

So hopefully I'll see some of my Skynyrd Nation Frynds at the show so we can Southern Rock the New Year in.....

LETS HEAR IT!!!!!! WHO'S THERE??????

@ Medway ... I'm might come across as a dick now to some but.... you would think the "Skynyrd Fan" site would offer the paid members of the fan club dibs on pre-sale Good Location seats before public sale ... no one here is looking for free tickets but you would think there would be a "perk" for the loyal paid Nation members ....

With the economy the way it is chances are I'll be bowing out at the end of this subscrition year period, I got facebook connects and emails to keep in touch with my frynds I got to meet and connect with in the past

Medway have a blast, I know you will at the Foxwoods show! Keep trying to nail your grand slam and get a vocal verse on stage with the guys of LS.

Peace my frynds.
