I saw the show in Mtn. View, Ca. week ago Sunday and their were 3 Honkettes. Anybody know who was singin' with Dale & Carol? BTW, that was one of the shortest shows I've ever been to probably due to Sunday night noise curfew.

Couldn't really say, the ladies were on a riser @ a right angle to the band a little obscured by the PA gear from where we sat. I almost didn't realize there were three, but I think she had longer hair like Dale's. Tough view though. Couldn't beat the deal on the tix we had. We originally bought lawn tix for $10, but as we waited to enter the lawn area some ladies with signs on their backs worked the crowd to upgrade your ticket for $10. Long story short we paid $20 to sit in the 16th row next to people who paid $70-$80. We were only a handful of lawn people that upgraded, guess you can't fix frugality.

@ohiodawg...Thanks again for all the info re the presale, its because of you, we were able to get 3rd row center....However no-one sat in the first two rows until Bama...so it was like we were first row...

In one word AWESOME....this band continues to outdo itself every tyme we see them...

Highlights tonight include

..........I presume Mary ( Dales daughter ) joining the ANGELS for 'Bama....

..........Robert motioning me over to give me a EAN pick...and then calling me back to give me another one for Mrs H7 all because we were wearing our Mississippi Kid shirts...

.........Johnny giving both of us props all nyte because of our shirts...He wore the NEW tribute shirt tonyte

.........Finally getting a Gary "green" pick!!!!!!

AND at the very end....Micheals drumstick.......

NOW......Thats what I call a grand slam!!!!!!!!!!

In one word....AWESOME!!!!!!!.

Thanks fer the set lyst H7, but as you can see an abbreviated one. No medley or acoustic stuff that night, but better than nothyng. The sound was loud n proud! I was back at the Shoreline 5 nights later on Fri. for .38 Spec. & ZZ Top and they both played way longer with the Eagles of Deathmetal sandwiched in between. ZZ went past 10pm so I guess the noise curfew is later on Fri. n Sat. There was no shortage of picks bein' tossed around, towards the end Rickey was tossin' handfuls. 2 years ago I was front row @ Konocti Harbor in front of Ean and between songs leaned forward and asked him if he was usin Dunlops? he walked up and handed me one for my collection and I thanked him since the Dunlops are good frynds of mine here in Benicia where the business is located. Got one of Gary's white ones that night too. Sparky gave me one of his the year before with his old band Hot Apple Pie still on 'em.
