You guys NEED to put out some new tunes, like the old ones such as Free Bird (one of the greatest songs ever made) and Sweet Home Alabama. It has to be done before all the atmosphere of the music world is filled with the pollution of the likes of Justin Beiber, Take That and all that other shit!!!!!

I disagree.
Yes, I agree.

True but it's up to the public to demand it... God & Guns was released with a little fan fare, couple of videos were made one on VH1 and Simple Life got some play on the country format video channels, CMT/GAC...

But in todays airways it's difficult for them to find new audience... The attention span of this generation is short... When God & Guns came out I would call local radio stations to request "Still Unbroken" and to no avail... The response from the dj/program director was.... If people call in for Skynyrd they want to hear Freebird, Sweet Home, etc not the new stuff... My response was... If you don't play the "new" stuff, they won't know it's out there...

Look at the buying trends it's like ice cream... What is the flavor of the month... The industry just pumps out what they think the public wants.... First it was groups, Backstreet Boys, Nsync, etc... Same shyt different name... Now it's the solo artist, Gaga, Bieber, Gomez, and it's what sells...

You got to Best Buy, Wal Mart, etc and try and find Skynyrd and you may luck out but if you were looking for that shyt they're pumping out it's there...

Don't worry they are working on "New" stuff right now, release date unknown at this point but it's coming...

I'm not dead, at least not yet, Still Alone, Still Alive, STILL UNBROKEN....

IF they really wanted to promote the newer work, every time they get on shows like GMA,they would play a tune off their latest CD. I Radio has taken over most of the air waves by me,so when I am in a Skynyrd( or who ever) mood ,I pull out a CD and blast it.Amazing how many people will ask me who I am jamming out to or they know the sound ( yes, most people who know southern rock know Johnny's voice) but not the song.
