ScotlandForever - Your post here and the last one in the 'Hannity' section makes it seem you are trying to push some buttons around here. I can't speak for the band but I know that people like Springsteen, Mellencamp, Bon jovi and many others can spew their politics and nobody thinks anything of it. But if Ted Nugent, Skynyrd and a host of country music folks speak their mind, some peoples panties get into a wad. Why not just let it go, please.

@Jenne_Anne: Well I hope they do more than think about it. About a year ago I wrote to Vector Management seeking that they consider eg maybe tie it up with the V8 Supercars Jim Beam Racing / Jim Beam etc and attendant concerts (ideal partnership in my eyes) but they didn't even have the decency to even acknowledge the letter with even a polite declination and "thanks for your interest". Now for the Clipsal 500 Concert we have Status Quo when we could have had Lynyrd Skynyrd. Dear Mr Levitan please please get on with managing the band and convince the to head to Australia. Jenne_Anne I have been waiting for over 30 years and well I wouldn't hold my breath!

Status Quo, My 2nd favourite band. Going to see them in december. Well worth seeing if you get the chance.
