Have to make a food run for a local soup kitchen so will miss Skynyrd on F&F tomorrow morning. My wife and I did get to see them last Friday night in Salisbury, MD. Great great concert.

@beachpeach: WOW !! What a great post.. I'm a born and raised Tennessee boy that currently resides in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and have been digging on Skynyrd forever and a day (It seems).. Please know that I have nuthin' against NY.. just thought that it would be cool to see Johnny sportin' the Live At The Fox t-shirt in memory of one of the greatest live performances of RVZ (and the band's) career..especially since the show is one day before the crash that changed southern rock forever.. Is it true that after 911 occured that "Tuesday's Gone" was the most requested song by New Yorkers on the radio? September 11th, 2001 was on a Tuesday right? Thanks for your cool comment.. 4skynyrd

"Live On Fox" is okay but it holds no past to the legend of this music or the fans and "frynds" that have supported it.. When it comes to Skynyrd live, there is alot of shows that were great (1979 & 1987 Volunteer Jams) and many more, but the greatest was the "One More From The Road " live shows from Atlanta, Ga. where the band first got it's reputation of killer live performances, and where Al Kooper first met them.. Since the show is called " Fox and Friends " and it is Lynyrd Skynyrd live ( one day short of 32 years since the crash ) I thought it would be cool to give a thumbs up to all the band members that got it all started and are no longer with us but of whom without, would be no band.. One thing is for sure though.. they will put on a great show without a doubt !! I think this new album rocks and the upcoming shows with the freedom artists will be some that all skynyrd fans (old and new) will be proud of.. This band has it's heart and it's head in all the right places.. God Bless the Family, Friends, and Fans of the Legendary Lynyrd Skynyrd Band, both past and present.. " 4skynyrd " 2009

I'm hoping that Johnny comes out wearing that famous black t-shirt that Ronnie was so proud of " Live At The Fox " with.. maybe "frynds" underlined in front or on the back!! Give the good people of Hot Atlanta something to cheer for since they're up in NY.. You guys are gonna rock it out as always.. Ny will never love you like 'Lanta or Nashville, but like RVZ sang in "When You Got Good Friends Like These"... "Well, there's a few good rockers in New York city.." Little bro' gonna kick ass in the big city !!! 4skynyrd

For events like this, the bands usually just do a few songs, not a whole concert. I plan to stop in before work and rock with them no matter how many songs they play!

@skynyrd OH NRA:
will they be playing like a full concert or just 2 or 3 songs
