I'm hoping and praying that Johnny gets better and is back on the road, healthy, real soon! I had tix to Fire Fest in Clear Lake, WI. I am super excited that they have re-scheduled for Sept 10th. The day before my 30th birthday. Yep, my birthday is 9/11. I will NEVER forget FDNY!! I have been a Skynyrd fan since the first time I heard Free Bird. And fell in even harder in love with the band when I heard What's Your Name! I first saw you guys when you played in Somerset, WI, it was a dream come true!! Hope to see you play again soon!!

Johnny, here's to a speedy recovery. SO sorry you are ill. We pray for your swift recovery. I am sure it was heartbreaking to give in and go to the hospital, but we need you well. I also know that you and the band hated having to cancel dates, but there will be another concert and another Simple Man Cruise. SO get well God Bless you. Grover and Janet

Wow!!! I just signed up to say I hope Johnny Van Zant gets 100% healthy before going back out on the road w/the rest of the band! I too have tickets for today's show in MO up front center track for a birthday gift to my kid and am a bit disapointed but my God if you do not have your health then you do not have anything, let the man rest and get healthy. We will still have a blast with The Doobie Brothers and Kansas-it's the music and the fun of it all!!!
God Bless this band Lynyrd Skynyrd and may they keep touring as long as they choose to and when the day comes they choose to stop we have so much great music to always enjoy, Thanks to this Rocking Band!!!
