That's my point roadfatigue. I know what Gene is saying is off-base (esp. this whole notion Ronnie wanted to remove Gary from the band - I seriously doubt that; (and now I'm beginning to wonder if the whole "Ronnie was going to quit the band at the end of '77 and turn the reigns over to Johnny and become a country singer" line was true. Ronnie may have gone country at one point, but to leave Skynyrd when they exploded with Gaines joining...I wonder")).

A&E Biography ought to do a 4 part series on the history of Southern Rock (LS, BF, MH, Outlaws, CDB, ZZ, Hank II). Ok, yer right. A 4 part on just LS. WTF was I thinking!?! Skynyrd Forever, Forever Skynyrd!
