I just went to a skynyrd show last week out here in california. Dont get me wrong.. AMAZING concert, i loved every second of it. Skynyrd fan til i die. But wouldent it be nice if skynyrd were to do a show and just break out all kinds of different songs that havent been played in years.?

The setlist will NEVER have a major change in it for as long as this band keeps touring. Too many estates and stockholders to support. They will keep pounding the commercial hits until no one shows up. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of Skynyrd but once you see the current band once, there's really no reason to go back. I'm sure I'll be pounced on by a member of "Skynyrd Nation" but that's just my take on the current band. |

Here is what is good about the current set list: you can bring a friend that has never seen them before and they will have great time because they know most of the songs.

I'm not complaining. I'm simply stating a fact. If you're not tired of hearing the same songs over and over in the exact same order at their shows then that's fine. Go out and support them. I find it hard to fork over $80 for the same hour and 20 minute show. I'd rather kick back and watch the Vicious Cycle dvd. |

@ls-skynyrdrocks88: You are correct, that's why i missed them this year. I heard they were playing "All I can Do is write about it" but I have yet to see any sign of it on youtube. Another thing I don't get is the medley. That too has been very similar for many years. No excuse for that. |

@ls-dagwoodblues: I completely agree with you. I will watch the same show over and over again if that is how I get to see them.

The best thing or way to fix this would be if lynyrd skynyrd was to open up a lynyrd skynyrd show theatre in atlanta georgia not far from Airport & freeway with good hotels around and do weekly shows there and stop touring as much and let the folks travel to them kina like branson missouri where the entertainers got there theatres or like elvis played vegas
Thank You Lynyrd Skynyrd for the music! |
