Posts: 215 Member #: 26,244 Joined: 10/18/2009	Anyone know if either ZZ Top or the Doobies will be opening for LS on Jul 27 @ Wolf Trap /Vienna VA? I don't see any details about either band, not even on Wolf Traps website. It makes it seem as if neither band will be there. That would be a bit of a bummer. I kinda doubt Wolf Trap would allow tail gating too. Anyone know what's what? Thanks! Skynyrd Forever, Forever Skynyrd! "Everything that comes after that, comes after that."

I am pretty sure the double billing with ZZ Top is over for a while, maybe the Doobies will be there. I am looking for single PIT TICKET if anyone runs across one. ~Rob

Posts: 1 Member #: 161,989 Joined: 06/19/2011	Anybody else with some info on this would be much appreciated. I am going to the concert either way. Based on the Lynyrd Skynyrd website, their date at Wolftrap is on the Tour with ZZ Top as well as the tour with 38 Special and Brett Michaels.

(I like what I've heard of ZZ Top and the Doobies, but they'd just be a bonus on top of Skynyrd for me) - Thanks for the tip, Paul - Skynyrd is one of the most underrated classic rock bands. We in Skynyrd Nation know better. What rock lost in 10/77 was no less than what it lost in 2/59. “Some people said he was useless – them people are the fools."
