I was reading on here about Jimmie van Zandt (dont see the post on here anymore) but anyway , i have never even heard of him untill i read a few posts the other day on here. So i went and checked out some of his stuff. I did not expect much, i expected a hack actually, and i was very surprised of what i heard. I think he is actually a better singer than Johhny, and Ronnie' s song is 100 times bettet than anything JVZ skynyrd has come out with before God and Guns. Now having said that, i Love Skynyrd, and think they still put on a hell of a show, and with Gary in the band, Skynyrd still has the soul to carry on. And i feel they have the right to seeing that Gary wrote/helped write many of the songs.

Please people....if you're going to spell the last name, get it right. THERE IS NO "D" in Van Zant. It's not Van Zandt. They are not related to Townes, so stop spelling it like that.

i know what you mean, the spelling of names really gets to me, especially the name "Lynyrd Skynyrd" ,its funny cause the name is listed above the top of this page

What drives me nuts is how people think they are so smart because they pick up on other peoples typos.
I hope you both feel better , and a little smarter because you can pick up typos.

@Maryland4Dixie: By the way, I am the one who started the previous Jimmie thread. That was weird that it disappeared (poet, didn't know it). Guess some topics (or at least one) bugged internal personalities. I do understand. And to that may I wish Jimmie all the blessings and good wishes for a prosperous southern rock career and for personal longevity. We need all southern rockers to stick around and inspire the younger generation to pick up a guitar instead of a turntable. Rock on Jimmie!

Southern, I highly doubt it was a typo. I have a feeling you just tried covering up your mistake with your second post.
