I JUST WON 2 TICKETS TO SEE LYNYRD SKYNYRD MONDAY

Its to the Delaware State Fair Show on Monday evening with Jamey Johnson opening for them.

I had planned to go anyway because only 40 minutes from where my Grandparents live in the house I was born and raised in 19 years ago.

I found a guy on Craigslist selling a ticket and was gonna leave here tomorrow to go spend to time with my family and pick up that ticket. I didn't know that my mom entered me in a contest with the local country station for 2 tickets to the show.

Tonight when we got home from dinner my mom checked her Facebook and found out I had actually WON THE TICKETS. I am so excited. This is only my second concert ever somehow ( I still don't know how I went all these years without going to one). The first one I went to was on the Kid Rock tour last year in Raleigh.

I hear rumors that say these tickets come with backstage passes. If I meet Gary Rossington and the boys Monday night I will be ONE HAPPY FELLA. Just wanted everyone else to feel my joy on this wondrous day.

I figure that *somebody* wins them kind of contests eventually; glad to hear it was you.
Liking live music can add up to hit one's bank account - generally worth it, but why not get the best of both worlds? :)

Thanks for the tip, Paul - Skynyrd is one of the most underrated classic rock bands. We in Skynyrd Nation know better.

Thanks again everyone. I still don't know where the seats are because the earliest I can pick up the tickets from the radio station is 9:00 am Monday. But I brought my moms camera and its a nice one so I'll try to take plenty of pictures and figure out how to post them on here. I found out that I may not get backstage passes but thats still awesome any way you look at it.
