How do you listne to your collection of Skynyrd and what do you got?

My collection of Skynyrd material has largely come from borrowing CDs from the relative who's a fan.
I have in my media library all of the studio albums (and all of the live ones, save for Freedom Hall), and a few bootlegs.
How complete are your collections

I picked up my own copy of Pronounced awhile back; I recently got Second Helping.
I do like having my own copy, and I also end up getting newer reissues that thus have newer bonus tracks.

How do y'all store and listen to your Skynyrd?
When I purchase CDs, I promptly make a FLAC rip of them, and mainly play my music off the computer.
The CDs go on as shelf; I rarely play my discs as-is.

I'm not a vinyl guy

Thanks for the tip, Paul - Skynyrd is one of the most underrated classic rock bands. We in Skynyrd Nation know better.

What rock lost in 10/77 was no less than what it lost in 2/59.

Hey good question......I'm sure Skynyrd Nation will provide some interesting answers to this one.....
Well personally I've got a youtube site.....007thefuture......and on that site,youtube, are 1000's of Vids and songs....alot of the older material with " Ronnie" and the band playing some LIVE show's and just some albums people have posted.thats definately a place to look and download or start a page and upload to....theres alos lots of old Record stores..that carry the albums...hehehehe

I find Amazon (especially with Prime) a convenient place for a lot of my CD shopping
I may dig through YouTube sometime, but I don't necessarily want every interview and bootlegs of *every* show. (with various bands I like, a few of the better bootlegs to provide a representative sample works for me.) :)

For Skynyrd, I have 1976.08.21 Knebworth, 1975.11.06 Cardiff (KBFH), 1977.01.18, and 1977.06.11; the first two are the better ones.
Except for official live releases, marked according to the given name, my live material is marked in the album tag as "YYYY.MM.DD - Location/Name" : that means that the computer sorts the live stuff chronologically.

Most of my live material (for whatever band) is audio-only.

Was talking to one guy who said he picked up a copy of Street Survivors on vinyl with the original cover, before MCA recalled those in the wake of the plane crash.

also, any way I could edit the thread title? that typo bothers me more as I continue to look at it

@LynSkyn1981:

Just wondering where's your secret Hellhouse in the woods with all your treasures ?!
Nah, keep your promises, it's OK for me.

@1981:
Still thought it was cool though. :)
I crank it up too, but I do have an ear-pain threshold. :P
At least I listen in a different room from the other people in the house

*five* eight-tracks seems a *little* much though.
Wonder if the afterlife accommodates deprecated audio formats. ;)
