Yeah very cool of him. I didn't know he had got them made yet. But he came over and tossed it right to me. I held it up later and mouthed 'Very cool, thank you!" He smiled and nodded.

@roadfatigue: LOL quit poking me. We all do what we can do. Ean saw how many of us came to Mississippi and loved him dearly. The reason for that is how well Ean treated us and how genuine he was. We all came to love him and so easily, it was his doing you are right....he started it with his Leon picks and Robert is carrying it on for both of them now....

@LynSkyn1981: Yes you are right on the pick and also I took a picture of Robert and Gary, you can't tell from the picture but they are doing that sway back and forth together that Gary and Leon started years ago...


Seats ere great second row center. My boyfriend and his sister went with me. We enjoyed all three bands. Great show started pretty close to 8 and we were leaving after 11. They played 4 songs off the new album, Skynyrd Nation, Simple Life, Still Unbroken, and God and Guns... They did the medley with Down South Jukin, Needle and the Spoon...my boyfriend said that Johnny gave me a wink and smiled during 'I Know a little'...I told him he just appreciates the fact that I am singing along and know the words.....

And damn if I wasn't tearing up at the beginning of Freebird...I will always miss our Freebirds

@freebyrd: God Carol...when we went to Tucson, we both broke down. It was our first show after Mississippi. God Bless our Freebirds-each and every single one.

@LynSkyn1981: We were second row center(had to get that straightened out too, first guy that sat us had us in the wrong section off the stage on the left) we were talking to the security guard as we were there early and he started chatting with us. (always good to make friends with security anyhow) We got on to cameras and such he said all was okay except video. Anyone seen taking video would be asked to stop and/or have the camera/phone confiscated.

Yeah they had the acoustics set up at the beginning of the show. I have a pic of that and them playing during God and Guns if you click on visit source in the first post.

@Sweet Home AL Sara: Rev Theory was great. Depends if you like hard rock/metal. The lead singer is amazing. He can do the loud screaming metal vocal but also sounds great on a ballad. Ballad Broken Bones was fantastic.

I have over 300 pics I took from the front row @ this show. Don't know how to post them on here but if anyone wants to see them, they are on my facebook under Page Madden Bordelon~acct name~feel free to add me;) or if anyone can tell me where & how if theres anywhere to post them on this site. Got some pretty good ones; took a few videos, but the manager was standing right there by us on the front row and told us we could take pics but no videos, so not so great on those. I did get my daughter to try to get some of The Needle and the Spoon as that is one of my favs. This concert was kick ass!! Going to see them again in Valdosta, GA next weekend; 6 1/2 hr drive~uuuggghhh~but worth it, even though I absolutely HATE driving & my daughter is not old enough to do any of the driving yet... if anyone wants to see my pics from this awesome show hit me up on FB!!
