GOD & GUNS is a great song with words that are dead on. The entire CD is AWESOME. Makes me feel good everytime I listen to it.

the god and guns album rocks!!! the album was made in my view with so much passion. jonnie's vocals are great! the southern theme, the way skynyrd has its views of today's government and today's problems touches me in a way that brings tears to my eyes. every song has a geat meaning and the ''new synyrd" so to speak even though its been since 86, has impressed me emensly. jonnie, as a dedicated diehard skynyrd fan please keep rockin!!!!!!! there is nothing that compares to your southern, honest, just good ole boy kick ass music!!!!!!!!!!! jonnie please don't stop talkin about your views about our government YOUR RIGHT ON TARGET

Man all of Skynyrds music is good, but i do have to agree this is one bad ass album. Also it's not the best. All of the classics are the best.

I must say and agree Ronnie was awesome in his technique on writing incredible songs, however Johnny, you and the guys have certainly made him proud. God & Guns is an amazing collection, nothing comes close with those historical Skynyrd lyrics, ok i'm not forgetting the kickass instrument playing. Johnnys' golden voice is one I never tire listening to. Just a fabulous group of people.

@dskipper: I agree&have requested multiple times to stations but said hands tied. Cant play new stuff only old even upon request. music business sucks.
