Gifted Hands

Hey, the new album is great, no doubt. Will it be another three years for another studio album? Time will tell. It will be interesting to see what the chemistry of the current band evolves into; I know that Edge of Forever and Vicious Cycle were the culmination of the Rossington-Medlocke-Thomasson Southern Rock all-star thing, and that will be hard to replace (just as the Rossington-Collins-Gaines trio was). And BP? That was hard. Really hard. I actually HAD that Vision album way back when. Was a big fan of his. But Keyes has a good pedigree, touring with George Clinton and all. So it should be good.

I am going to see Skynyrd for the second time this year in a couple of weeks, and it will be interesting to see if they are developing any "scripts" like Medlocke and Thomasson did (you know, the whole "I'm tired-gimme a towel thing, etc.)... That stuff was great!

=whiskeyrockinroll said:I think God & Guns is the best Skynyrd album since they reunited in 1987. Don't get me wrong I love all there stuff, but there's just something about this one. The song Gifted hands keeps going through my mind, what a great song.....
