I just wanted to say that Gary Rossington made me get my first guitar. He's the BEST guitarist there is. I am still looking for the Tab for Freebird with the slide I can play it without a slide. I play more Lynyrd Skynyrd songs than anything. I loved that cheap guitar because my parents got it for me. I am on my Fourth a real Brand. Washburn updated my amp to Peavey added some stomp boxed and a triple Wah. Couldn't afford a Les Paul I think they're too heavy IMO plus don't care for double humbucker pickups. I like one humbucker and 2 single coils. I like the treble I can get out of it. Yes it can be noisy.

Thanks a LOT LynSkyn1981 I love that Youtube site. I wore out 2 Lynyrd Skynyrd Gold and Platinum cassettes back in the day lol. I never would rewind or fast foreword them I would sit there with my guitar and TRY to play along by ear. My fingers would start to bleed I played so long lol. Those blisters hurt but I am glad I kept going because today my fingers are ready, still get a blister on a different song sometimes. Don't get me wrong I am not taking anything away from Steve Gaines or Allen Collins. May they rest in peace. I live about 5 miles from where they crashed. I remember that night. We were watching tv and it come across the screen of a plane crash so we went to the site and you could not get down the road there were so many cars parked on both sides of this little country road. We barely made it to the Ambulances but were stopped. It wasn't until the next day when we found out who it was. A good friend of my aunts helped get them out of the woods to the road. We had a friend, who just passed away in Aug, that was working at the hospital the night they brought all of them in.
