Rock star gallerys based in arizona is selling a FAKE AUTOGRAPHED STREET SURVIVORS,a FAKE NUTHIN FANCY,and a FAKE ONE MORE FROM THE ROAD,AUTOGRAPHED ALBUM,the SMOKING GUN is the cursive Z in VAN ZANT.and cursive G and I CAN PROVE IT!!!!!!! I own a signed 1 of 75OMFTR PROMO ALBUMS with a letter from MCA that was sent to a chicago radio station, i own a autographed 1977 japanese tour program, and a STREET SURVIVORS autographed 8track that was signed at altomonte spgs fla on oct 17 1977,and it shows that RONNIE and STEVE NEVER SIGNED THE CURSIVE Z OR G,as a matter of fact RONNIE SIGNED WITH A CAPITAL Z THEN SIGNED CURSIVE THE REST OF HIS LAST NAME,STEVE SIGNED WITH ORDINARY G THEN CURSIVE THE REST OF HIS LAST NAME,WHY DO I CARE? BECAUSE THEY ARE SELLING THESE FOR THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS!!!!!IF you don't believe me go on ebay under lynyrd skynyrd under autographs and look for the seller 'meeshapepper'he has the REAL DEAL SKYNYRD AUTOGRAPHS,also the guy rockstar gallery uses 'CHRIS MORALES'has been caught RED HANDED AUTHENICATING FAKE SPORTS MEMORABILLIA,GOOGLE HIS NAME THER WAS A HBO SPECIAL ABOUT IT.GARY ROSSINGTON COULD SOLVE THE WHOLE ISSUE BY SAYING 'WE NEVER SIGNED THESE ALBUMS'I KNOW HE CAN AT LEAST REMEMBER IF THEY SIGNED ANY PROMO STREET SURVIVORS,rockstar gallery does sell alot of legitimate autographs but they are 100000% wrong on these albums as being authenic,SKYNYRD MANAGEMENT GET INVOLVED!!!!

And what are they supposed to do about it? This has been going on for a long Time.
Buyer beware, you know? What gets me is when People have old band members sign lps they had no part of.
That's just stupid. Find an LP they actually played on lol
like one person is selling a copy of Pronounced with Arty's signature on it-he was NOT on it why have him sign it?
To a True Collector, that isn't worth anything unless the original musicians who actually played on that album sign it...oh and one more thing-if I had Ronnie's autograph-I sure as HELL would not sell it-not for ANY price. No matter what.
But-that's just me. If the Signatures cannot be authenticated, don't buy it.I don't think Gary is going to be able to remember when and how many times he signed a copy of any given Album I would imagine they signed a lot of LPS,and I bet the People who actually have those signed LPs are keeping them !

i believe gary would have a pretty good idea if they ever signed any ADVANCED PROMO STREET SURVIVORS,the album was only out for 3 days, also i do have a couple of photos of the band signing the ONE MORE FROM THE ROAD WHITE ALBUM PROMO at MCA'S offices in CA,but most importantly at the meet and greet at altomonte springs and you can see this on the FREEEBIRD MOVIE that for those fans that bought STREET SURVIVORS,the band signed the CENTERFOLD ABOVE THEIR PICTURES,I have seen 2 authenic albums from that day also there was about maybe 300 to 400 people ther that day, there was just a couple of weeks ago on ebay someone brought a copy of PRONOUNCED to get autographed there,i've seen at RR AUCTIONS about 3 years ago a pack of ZIG ZAG ROLLING PAPERS THAT WAS SIGNED THERE.bottom line there are probably about maybe 300 authenic albums that were signed that day buit if you boil it down to the folks that actually put their albums on the shelf and did not lose or misplace them thru the years iwould put that number around 200 AUTHENIC STREET SURVIVORS AND THEY ARE EXTREMELLY VALUEABLE!!!!!!!!!!!

God bless those who make money off of them (.Not true Fans.)
From e bay or where ever. I personally wouldn't DREAM of selling anything if I had it. I'd just pass it down to the Kids, but that's just me.To me , those things would be keepsakes.

I understand that you're angry and why, but that was still quite the wall of text.

I recall a fan of another band saying that he had to sell some of his collectibles due to financial difficulties, so sometiems the legit stuff would hit the market even with good intentions.

Thanks for the tip, Paul - Skynyrd is one of the most underrated classic rock bands. We in Skynyrd Nation know better.

What rock lost in 10/77 was no less than what it lost in 2/59.
