Ok, so Skynyrd is my favorite band, which is saying something because i'm a 15 year old girl, and my dad bought my family tickets to the Toledo, OH concert on October 15th. I was soo excited, i had all the days counted down and everything. Yesterday, my dad came home and said that he heard on the radio that the concert was cancelled! I was in shock and sad and angry.

It was NOT!!!!! due to scheduling conflicts. I won tickets on a radio station (the coolest thing i ever won) and have been wanting to see them for years. I'm as bummed at the news of the canceling of the show and have to agree with the 13yr old. I was told by the radio station my tickets were junk and the promoter canceled the show. I'm disapointed that skynyrd just should have lived up to they're reputation and say no to the white collers and play the music. When the start playing it wouldn't have mattered how many peolpe came and it wouldn't have been arena. |

Mollie, I'm soooo sorry to hear that your concert was cancelled (for whatever reason short of death or sickness). Same thing happend to me about 5 years ago. My husband and I had tickets to see them at Duquoin State Fair, and they cancelled (said 1 of the band members was sick). I was so disappointed, but if they were telling the truth, I fully understand.
