Can we have a longer set?

Just seen Skynyrd in Manchester (UK). Great gig and it is always great to see and hear them, but why do they only play 75-80 minutes?
Surely with their back catalogue they could stretch to 2 hours?
Get rid of the support act and play 2 sets with break in between.

Many bands are now playing 2 1/2 hours if not 3 hours, just feel 75 minutes is a little short!

Ronnie's philosophy was ALWAYS leave them wanting for more. It was unusual for the original band to play more than an hour. Gary is just following what Ronnie taught him.

Skynyrd sets have always averaged 90 mins +/-, even in the 70's.

I'm just thankful they still tour.

It seems that London got preferential treatment!

They got 4 extra songs - Gimme Back My Bullets, Whiskey Rock 'n' Roller, Needle & the Spoon, and Tuesday's Gone.

That would have turned Manchester from 75 to 90 minutes plus.
Shame as ticket prices were the same!

@vanzantshat: Sadly nothing from God And Guns played either....

Other than that a great night and gig all round.

Going to The Salisbury after it didn't do my head much good the next day though.....
