I have been a loyal Skynyrd fan for years. I finally found an original street survivors LP (flames on the cover) and was wondering how many were sold before it was pulled off the shelf. And what it is worth ? I would never sell it actually I'm framing it and putting it with the rest of my collection. I have almost all of the records on vinyl just a couple more to get. Johnny does a great job as lead . seen him a couple of years ago in Indiana it was a great show, Keeping the Legend of the music alive. Thanks for all the Great Music.

There ain't enough money in the world for me to sell them!
This from a woman who sold her wedding band to buy groceries but not my Skynyrd!

I have a copy of the original flame-covered Street Survivors album too! I was so excited when I found it. I actually found it the day after i went to see Skynyrd in Houston on June 30th 2009 (a very emotional concert, by the way). Since then, i have listened to it many times, and it never gets old! When i found it, i also wondered if it was worth anything, but then i realized that even if it wasn't, it was still amazing that i had found it. It's the story behind the album it that makes it so interesting to have. It's almost like having a piece of Skynyrd history right in my own home, if that makes any sense at all, lol

I actually know of someone who has 83 -yes-83 copies of it.
WHY?-waiting for it to become valuable,I suppose.I bought mine the day it came out.
If it was the last copy on earth,I would not part with it.
The last I heard, it was worth about $50.00.I don't know if it will ever be worth alot-because
A lot of copies of the original cover were sold before they changed it.
I would not classify it as a collector's item for that reason.
People bought it and left it sealed thinking they could sell it in the future for a lot of Money, and I'm sure, with the sealed copies, they did make some money on e-bay.
for one guy to have 83 copies of it-that tells me it's not rare.-RossingtonRules-
