Folks,

I seldom post anything but I wanted to tell you how much I appreciated and enjoyed your performance in the rain at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. The tickets were bought for my son by his girlfriend and considering the weather I truly did not want to go. We ended up sitting through hours of rain just to have the race postponed.

As we left, I had to think, your concert made it all worthwhile. I had to wonder if there isn't a considerable risk going on stage with all the electric stuff everywhere included electric guitars around your neck or a microphone in your face.

We did go back a couple days later and watched a great race but even if that had not happened, I would not have considered it a loss because of your concert.

I was watching the prerace stuff hoping to see if they would air some of the concert during the rain delay... When/where was it?? I know they usually have a temp staging area for the acts...

Bummer that it poured... The weather has caused havoc on so many sporting/concert events...

The concert was at 5:00 on the Start/Finish line. The concert was probably over by the time pre race coverage started on ESPN. I saw a bit of it on NASCAR Raceday on Speed Channel around 6:00 when they were playing Call Me The Breeze. Also what an incredible race. Wow

My cousin was at the race and she said the guys put on a great show. It was her first Skynyrd concert.

Seeing Skynyrd at the race was the second time I got to see the boys this year. First at Jones Beach in the 2nd row then in Atlanta standing in the front row above the race track. Both shows were great. What made Atlanta even better that I had a Pit pass and got to talk briefly with Johnny and a picture with him as he was headed out to the stage for the sound check. The boys had fun playing in the rain and the fact that the race did not start until Tuesday did not matter. Like Johnny said. Hopefully they will come back next year and play a few set.

my wife & i were at the race in hampton. i talked her into going to the concert even thought we had met several people walking from the speedway saying the guys would not be singing. when we got to our seats after the posted start time of the concert the guys were walking to the stage (in the rain) this was the first time we had seen LS live. even though it was a shorten concert the guys really put on a good show! we stayed in the stands until nascar "lost" the racetrack. on the way back to the motorhome my wife said she was glad i "made" her go we really enjoyed the show.they could have called off the show because of the rain but they did not & we really appreciate that they did not. hope they can come back without the rain
