Artimus Venomous II

Artimus Venomous has to be the best post 77 southern rock record (sorry MTB, Hatchett, and 38), right there with the first RCB record and GnG. Is a follow up in the works? Love ya Mike, but Arty is pure genius, at least on that record. One can only wonder how good the next record could be if Arty and Ed were willing and able to write songs with Rickey, Gary, and Johnny. Time to forgive, boys. Time is runnin out. Miss ya JoJo, the honkettes are not the same without your beautiful voice and soul. Is there any room for Leslie? The last of the original honkettes? I sure hope so.

And wonder is all we can do. Although I don't like to never say never, I am confident (and saddened) in saying this will NEVER happen. I think any serious animosity there ever was is pretty much gone, but that don't mean reconciliation is anywhere on the horizon.

Time to forgive? Maybe, but don't hold your breath. Like you said Artimus was pure genius on that record and one can only hope there is another in the works, and like ya said the next one could be even better but Artimus Venomous is proof enough Artimus does NOT need anyone's help writing any songs for it. He don't need Ed or really even like him and besides Ed can't play guitar any longer and needs lots of rehab and exercise and practice to sound like he can play these days. And Artimus don't need Rickey and don't much like him either. And as for Gary he is in a world all his own and Artimus songs are written about him, not with him. And who needs Johnny? Certainly not Artimus venomous round two! Nope. Artimus is best off doing his own thing his own way and keeping it real instead of contrived like some are these days.
