I was at a Babtist church in Knoxville, Tennessee back in 2005 to attend a service with some new friends that I had just met, and there was this new young Pastor that had a beautiful Ovation guitar and had just took the stage and was about to play a couple of songs when all of a sudden.. it happened.. Someone politely and at the exact right time
hollered "Free Bird"!!! It amazed me that I was sitting there feelin' alittle uneasy to begin with, and this cool moment happened.. The young Pastor and those in attendance (about 1200) all laughed and it was something that I'll always treasure..RVZ and the boys would've loved it!

we were in a bar in indianapolis a few yrs ago when we went out for the indy 500, and they had dueling pianos. one of the piano players asked if anyone had any requests, so naturally i figured pianos.... requests.... FREE BIRD!!!!..... well he proceeded to say "do you know how many f*ckin times i get asked to play that?" and flipped me off sayin here's your free bird..... lol then they did sweet home alabama and we all got a great laugh outa it

My husband took my daughter to a Jonas Brothers concert a couple of years ago. She took some video with her phone. It was L-O-U-D!!! - the screaming girls, not the music. Anyway, she said that somebody yelled Freebird! I asked her if it was Daddy. She said "No, he didn't even hear it. He was covering his ears."

I remember a special someone yelling my board name outside an LS show in Vegas a few years back. I paid no attention. LOL she finally yelled Carol! I was like 'yeah I figured someone was just excited about the show we just saw'.
