My Simple Man Dream...

This summer I made a list of dreams that I want to acomplish over these next 3 months of freedom (my summer vacation lol). I wrote this list because I thought maybe this summer could be the summer of Dreams. So the first thing on my to do "Dream List" is the longest dream i've kept and probably the biggest dream I have on the list, this dream is to have the privilage of getting up on stage with the band Lynyrd Skynyrd and play the song "Simple Man" live in front of thousands of people...I know what ur thinking while reading this..."Honey keep dreaming" lol. But I heard that they're going to be here in Indy this June so maybe that dream will be lived.
The reason this dream means alot to me is because that song means alot to me. I heard this song when i was about 10 or 11 years old and basically fell in love with it ever since. It means alot to me because ive grown up with just my mom until 8/8/08 when she wed my awesome stepdad. But when i had heard this song i was going through alot of things in my life like my real dad leaving me and my family,and the one person that was there for me was always my mom.I know this song was written about a mom telling her son to be a "simple man" but to me when i heard it i just thought it was about a mom telling her child to just stay strong and to not give up on things and that life will be great...basically what my mom had always told me.
Looking back at what my mom had done for me growing up with her being there for me all the time, I can tell u she is one of my heroes. And so if i do get to get up on stage and play this song with Skynyrd, it would be played as a tribute to my mom and all the love and support she's shown and given me growing up.

If you get up FRONT and make some kinda card for Johnny to see(keep waving it),maybe he'll ask for it and at least dedicate it to your MOM-He did that for us last October in Kinder,La when I did just that when my best friend of 35 years passed !! Good luck Kiddo
